Abstract

ABSTRACT
The research goal is to find out how the influence of a snack product development and advertising to sales volume in PT. Siantar Top Sidoarjo. Independent variable (X) is the development of products with advertising and dependent variable (Y) is the volume of sales. This type of data in this study is secondary data, ie data obtained from other sources.
The sources of data is primary data from internal company by doing direct research and secondary data from other parties who have done previous research and has been published. Collecting data by interviews, observation and literature study. Samples derived from the snack type crakers sold in 2011 to 2016. The analysis techniques solution using multiple regression analysis.
The study concluded that the contribution of variables influence product development and sales promotion together to sales volume amounted to 0.798 or 79.8%. While the rest of 10.2% influenced of other variables outside the model study.
